This past Wednesday was our family's favorite Holiday...that's right...it was Halloween! We usually have an annual Halloween party every year in celebration, but we decided to postpone it this year with Arden's arrival. We hope to get it back up and running next year though!
Arden was very surprising...an owl for Halloween. :) I will not pretend that she liked her costume...she did not like it at all. But we did manage to snap a couple of pictures of her in it before she decided to boycott it all together. :)
The weather was pretty chilly and with the fact that she does not eat candy yet, we only took her trick or treating next door at the Jains. She got her first little treat and it was adorable! She took the Kit Kat, looked at it as if she was saying, "Kit Kat?! You know I don't like Kit Kat!" Lola liked barking at all of the trick or treaters as usual and Nana got Lola an adorable mermaid costume. While life with a child has definitely changed how we celebrated our Halloween this year, I would not have had it any other way. :) I am looking forward to next year when Arden will be able to have fun with it and collect candy.
