Welcome to our blog!!

Hello and welcome!  I bet you are wondering why we named the blog the "Ai-owl-lo" Nest.  Let me explain.  After trying to come up with the perfect theme for our nursery, we settled on owls!  They are cute, fun, and a little mysterious.  And let's face it...this little baby is sure to keep us up and will be our little night owl.  Want a sneak peak of some of our inspiration for the nursery?

I came across these adorable finds from Etsy...one of my favorite sites in the world!

Here is a decal very close to one we will have in the nursery:

Here is also a precious little mobile that we found:

So , hence the Ai-owl-lo Nest!

Today was a very special day!  We were able to see Baby Aiello for the second time!  It was probably the most amazing sight I have ever seen!  We ended up taking the whole day off of work so we could go out to breakfast and have lots of carbs and sugar to get the baby break dancing!  No such luck.  He or she was face down, bum up, with their little arms and legs under their body asleep for most of the ultrasound.  Good thing for us, we had a great tech!   She said, "Sometimes you have to go through the window instead of through the door."  So, most of the cute profile pics you see are "through the window" or the side of the belly.  There was a moment that Baby Aiello took a big stretch backwards that was so cute!  We have a DVD that I will post after we find out the gender of the baby on Sunday!  Even though the baby was not the most cooperative, the tech was able to make sure all body parts are in tip top working condition and the baby is measuring a day ahead!  A little over achiever we have on our hands.  The tech was for sure able to tell....without a doubt if Baby Aiello is a boy or a girl.  And no...we for sure do not yet know, but we will find out during our Gender Reveal Party!  Hurry up Sunday!  Without further ado, I will leave you with pictures of our little one!  Make no mistake...he or she is quite the acrobat and if you think you are looking at his or her arm by their head...nope!  It sure is their little foot!  Rubber baby!!!
