34 Weeks? Squashed!

Baby Girl Aiello was 34 weeks as of Wednesday...that means as of today she will be here in 33 days or less!  Does that seem soon to anyone else??  She is the size of a buttnut squash.

Her baby blurb this week says she is reacting to simple songs, which she has been doing for sometime now!  I was at Buy Buy Baby the other day and started humming a Billy Joel song and she started squirming around.  It took me a second to realize she liked the humming!  It kind of melted my heart. :) 

We had a doctor's appointment on Monday that went super well.  Everything looked and sounded great and my doctor asked if I thought she was coming early.  My response was..."Well, do you?!  I think you are the one that would know best!"  He thinks she will come right on her scheduled birthday of June 20th at 7:30 AM.

This Tuesday, I was having some pretty wicked contractions that were back to back.  I had to call the nurse and apparently I was one contraction away from going to Labor & Delivery.  Thank goodness I feel much better now!  She needs to at least stay put until June 6th ( Happy Birthday, Stephanie!) because then I will be full term.  I have been feeling great at moments of the day and not so great at others.  I kind of flop around in bed at night like a star fish out of water.  And my feet?  What feet?  What I can see of them is not good!  I have cankles. :(  Thanks goodness it is sandal season because I could not fit in shoes!  I am also now down to just wearing my wedding band and now that is tight too!  **Sigh.**  We had our last baby class last night, so hopefully now we are totally prepared....hopefully. ;-)  Below is our 34 week shot!

We are excited to see Chris's family this weekend!  We are going up to Crown Point for our Baby Shower thrown by his parents.  It will be so nice to see Lex & Brant too since we have not seen them since January!  I know we both are very much looking forward to the weekend!  TGIF!

Congratulations to My Mom & Mark!

Last Friday, May 11th, my Mom and Mark got married!  They wanted a small ceremony and reception and chose to get married at the Hamilton County Courthouse and hosted the reception at the Bridgewater Club.  It was so great getting to see my cousins and my family!  We always have such a great time together.  My Mom looked beautiful and sooo happy!  It was great to see her like that.  I could not be more excited for her and Mark.  I was her Matron of Honor and Flower Girl all wrapped into one and Chris and Scott were Mark's Best Men.  Chris and I wanted to surprise them and helped decorate and set up the Bridgewater Club reception room to look "wedding like" without their knowing.  It made me feel great how appreciative they both were.  Mark has felt like part of the family for some time, but now it is official.  Welcome to the family, Mark!!  Below are some pictures of the great day!

Week 33- Crunch Time!

We are at Week 33 1/2 and it is officially crunch time!  I think nesting has kicked in, but I am sooo tired from working all day and running errands during lunch and after work for my Mom's Wedding that I have not been able to do too much about it.  I have been having good days and bad days.  Some days I barely feel pregnant and some days, BOY do I feel pregnant!  Baby Girl Aiello is the size of a Durian fruit...just hopefully not this prickly!!

She is weighing about 5-5 1/2 pounds and is about 17.2-18.7 inches!  She is now keeping her eyes open while she is awake and is starting to coordinate breathing, sucking, and swallowing.  As of today, we have 39 days or less!  Eek!  That sounds so soon!!  We are at the point where we cannot wait to meet her!!  I will leave you with our 33 week photo! :)

32 weeks and a Baby Squash!

Baby Girl Aiello is now 32 1/2 weeks old!  We have 6/12 weeks to go, or 45 days or less!  She is the size of a squash this week!

I had a great appointment at the Doctor on Wednesday of this week.  My blood pressure was great, Baby Aiello is still high, ( not coming anytime soon!) and she is about 4.5 pounds.  She could be up to 19 inches by now!  Her sleep cycles are that of a newborn with sleep cycles of 20-40 minutes to prepare for her life in the outside world.  She is a pretty active little girl still.  She LOVES her music and loves whenever there is loud noise around.  Her movements, while still endearing, are starting to hurt!  I have a feeling she will be an outgoing little girl because whenever there is loud noise, she goes crazy like she wants to join the party.  I love that she is already developing her own little personality!

Chris was travelling all last week in London and Munich for work.  We are so glad he is home and it is good to know that that trip will be his last before Baby Girl Aiello makes her grand entrance!  Here are some of the adorable gifts he brought back for me and the baby...we are so spoiled. :)

Last weekend Lola and I celebrated Haley Dearing turning 7 years old!  The best little flower girl ever!  Happy Birthday, Haley!!  We love the Dearings. :)

My Mom and Mark will be getting married on Friday, May 11th!  After over 12 years together, they are making it official!  I could not be more happy for them!  Congrats to you both and I cannot wait to be their Matron of Honor and Chris will be Mark's Best Man along with Scott!  We are looking forward to celebrating with you on Friday!
